Mountain Lions, Foxes and Bears Oh My!

Today we enjoyed a trip to the Squam Lakes Natural Science Center. It is a park of nature trails in Holderness, New Hampshire. It is about an hour north of where we live. The park includes nature trails with animal exhibits and various buildings to learn about the animals. In the summer you can also take a lake cruise on Squam lake. The first blog..

Hello out there!

Dwight and I are enjoying our first year as a married couple. I can't believe it has almost been a year. I decided to start a blog, having seen others and enjoying the updates.

Here is a picture taken in St. Lucia during our honeymoon.

We have spent this year re-doing the finished basement with a bar, futon and television. I will post pictures once I get some new ones. We also adopted a kitten back in August. His name is Herman and he is such a sweet and funny cat. This picture was taken after we first got him. He is much bigger now!
We have spent a lot of time with family and friends. In December my friend Nicole came up to New England for a visit with her daughter Samantha. Then in February I had a great time visiting her family in Texas.

Dwight and I went to Florida in April. We flew into Fort Lauderdale and drove down through the Keys. We then stayed in Key West for a few nights. It is a fun town to visit!! We came home with many funny stories.


On July 5th my sister Jill is getting married. I am the maid of honor and Dwight is the best man. We are very excited for Jill and Marty as well as being a special part in their big day. They are getting married at Wachusett Mountain in Princeton, Massachusetts. I know it will be an amazing day! Here is a photo of the happy couple at her bridal shower.

Our friends Deb and Gino recently brought us to a RedSox game. We had a blast. They also had us over for a cookout. Here are some photos from these fun times.
