32 Weeks.. 8 months!!!
By now, our baby weighs 3.75 pounds and is about 16.7 inches long, taking up a lot of space in the uterus. The baby gains about a half pound a week now! In fact, she'll gain a third to half of her birth weight during the next 7 weeks as she fattens up for survival outside the womb. She now has toenails, fingernails, and real hair (or at least respectable peach fuzz). Her skin is becoming soft and smooth as she plumps up in preparation for birth.

What's New:
* I'm still getting so hungry. I will go from not hungry to totally starving in a second!
* I am also sooo thirsty. I actually have been this thirsty the whole pregnancy but never mentioned it on here.
* The house is starting to look like a home of a baby. We have been putting together some of the baby things. We have the stroller, carseat, bouncer, bassinet, and play mat put together. I have put away almost all of our gifts and almost organized everything. I will take pictures of our new items in the house soon.
* I need to have Dwight take an 8 month photo of me so I will do that asap and post.
* I get tired and achy and don't feel like getting 'up' as much but I am doing well. For being 8 months along I can't complain on how I feel. Rings may have to come off soon, we will see. I am sleeping pretty well although Dwight would say I'm taking up the whole bed with all my pillows haha.
* I can't wait to hold our baby!!!

5 years ago today
I wouldn't change a thing!
I am even more crazy about him than I was at 22 years of age.. :o)
So funny to think in a couple months we enter parenthood at the exact same moment..
To many more years laughing and being our goofy selves together.

New Curtains
31 Weeks
This week, our baby measures over 16 inches long. He weighs about 3.3 pounds and is heading into a growth spurt. He can turn his head from side to side, and his arms, legs, and body are beginning to plump out as needed fat accumulates underneath his skin. He's probably moving a lot, too.
What's Happenin'?
* Still sleeping!! Yay.
* Still hungry!!
* Rings are still on.. for the moment at least!
* Dwight found his wedding ring!!! Outside!!! The snow has been melting so he went for a walk and looked and looked... and found it!!!
* My best friend from Texas is coming to visit today!
* We cleaned out our storage room/laundry room so that we can fit more baby stuff in this house.
* I have been getting achy and tired. I feel like I have a lot of energy but by the end of the day at school I am slow and achy.
* Acid reflux has stopped.
* Annoying pregnancy comments are getting more frequent. Who wants to be told that they waddle? No one is the answer!!
* Belly is growing. I am going to take some pictures this weekend and next weekend and post them asap. :o)

30 Weeks!
Our baby's about 15.7 inches long now, and she weighs almost 3 pounds. A pint and a half of amniotic fluid surrounds her, but that volume will decrease as she gets bigger and takes up more room in my uterus. Her eyesight continues to develop, though it's not very keen; even after she's born, she'll keep her eyes closed for a good part of the day. When she does open them, she'll respond to changes in light but will have 20/400 vision — which means she can only make out objects a few inches from her face. (Normal adult vision is 20/20.)

29 Weeks
Our baby now weighs about 2 1/2 pounds and is a tad over 15 inches long from head to heel. His muscles and lungs are continuing to mature, and his head is growing bigger to make room for his developing brain. To meet his increasing nutritional demands, I need plenty of protein, vitamins C, folic acid, and iron. And because his bones are soaking up lots of calcium, I eat lots of dairy. This trimester, about 250 milligrams of calcium are deposited in our baby's hardening skeleton each day.

What's Happenin':
* I have been so hungry! The baby must be growing rapidly and adding on that baby fat. I eat what I would normally eat, and then an hour later I feel hungry again.
* I am getting physically exhausted after being on my feet and walking around. I have to make myself sit down and rest for a bit if I have been walking around for a while.
* I am loving being pregnant right now. I enjoy it more than I have so far. I think this is due to me showing more and feeling the baby move around much more. :o)
* Sleeping isn't as easy but I am still okay with it.
* My rings still fit. They are a little snug some mornings but I haven't had to take them off yet.
* 11 weeks doesn't sound like much time at all.. it's getting close!
