Christmas Day

I had so many photos that I wanted to post from Christmas day so I made a slideshow. 
We woke on Christmas morning to flurries coming from the sky.. it was a beautiful start to the day.  Anya was very excited to see her black horsie stuffed animal right away.  She ran up to him and hugged him.  She then noticed the Little People Castle and Fairy house.  She enjoyed opening gifts... she loves unwrapping them!  Good thing Seth is too young to understand that she opened all his gifts for him haha!  The kids got a lot of nice things.  Anya loves her dog with a vet kit to care for him.  She got a Cinderella nightgown and bathrobe to keep her warm in the mornings.  She got her first Barbie doll and a Cinderella barbie doll too.  She loves her new Mobigo game and her big purple dinosaur stuffie.  There were also puzzles and some art supplies and books.  She loves her new pony royale and my little ponies too.  Seth got a new toy table, some cars and trucks, clothing, a farm book with noises, pacifiers/baby spoons, a train top and a noisy transportation town toy.  A lot of his toys have been put away until he is a bit bigger.  It will be fun to take them out as he grows.  Anya had a gift for us wrapped up from school.  It is a beautiful ornmant that she made with her photo on it.  We hung it on the tree and she was so proud to watch us open it.

After we finished unwrapping.. we played with some of our new things and then got ready to head to Nana and Grampys house.  We had a wonderful day with family.  My sister and her family also were there.  We sat near the fire and had yummy food together.  Anya was high energy all day with excitement.  Seth was a great baby as always.  It was a great Christmas. 

This year Dwight surprised me with an IPad.  I couldn't believe it!  I am very happy with my new gift however my favorite gift this year was our baby Seth.  My two children and wonderful husband are really all the gifts I ever need :)

Christmas Eve

We had a really nice Christmas eve. We had Dwights mom, grandmother and brother over for some food and celebration. Anya really enjoyed opening her gifts.. and Seths! ;) The kids got a lot of nice gifts.  After our company left we headed to church for the 6pm service. It was really nice. The best part is the last song of Silent Night with candles lit and dimmed lights. Anya helped me hold my candle and it was a special moment for me. After church we went on a drive to see Christmas lights. The kids weren't really having it and it turned more into a stress drive ha! Once we got home Anya put carrots outside with Dwight and left a note with cookies and milk for Santa. She was nervous that the milk would go bad haha. We let her open up one gift which was the book, Polar Express. We read it together as a family before the kids went to bed. It was a great day and night with a lot of fun anticipation for Christmas morning.

Happy 2 Months, Seth!

On Tuesday Anya had a Christmas sing a long at school. She did a wonderful job and I could hear her singing :) She loved being in front of the crowd of parents and grandparents..

 

When the class sang "falalalalalalalala" Anya got really into it. She had the crowd laughing... I'm so glad I got a video of it...



Even Santa showed up!!!! I'm so happy they celebrate Christmas at her school :) She even came home with a wrapped gift for me and Dwight of something she made. We can't open it until Christmas..



This dress was made by her great grandmother and me and my sister both wore it as children..

Christmas party #2

Over the weekend we celebrated Christmas with my dads side. It was fun to see the little ones together.. 6 girls and now 1 boy..

Santa's Big Party

On Saturday we went to Santa's Big Party at the farm. We visited some animals and then boarded a horse drawn wagon. The horses took us on a half hour ride to Santa's party in the woods. There was hot cocoa, cookies, a bonfire, music, characters, and Santa of course. After that we took a tractor wagon ride to see Santa's reindeer. It was a fun time :) Thanks to my parents for the season pass to the farm. We are really getting a lot of use out of it and we have it through the Spring and Summer too!

Tea and cookies with Mrs. Claus!

Anya got to have tea and cookies with Mrs. Claus at a local playspace. She loved it! The children decorated sugar cookies, drank tea (apple juice), and we got photos with Mrs. Claus too! Mrs. Claus was great. There was Christmas music playing and the room really did smell like Mrs. Claus' Christmas kitchen.
